Agility Applications Regional Qld ICT Scholarship

An applicant is eligible for the scholarship, if - (a)    the applicant submits an on-line application form for the scholarship to the Head, by the closing date for applications; and (b)    the applicant is a domestic student within the meaning of the Fee rules; and (c)    in the two years immediately before the award, the applicant completed Year 12 from a high school in 'regional' area or completed year 12 as a boarder whilst having a permanent address in a regional area.  See rule 2 for definition regional area ; and (d)    the applicant is enrolled in a relevant 1st or 2nd year undergraduate program and, where applicable, in one of the relevant fields, in the year of the award; and (e)    the applicant does not hold a scholarship that the Head deems similar.

Anna Hynes Curtis Refugee Scholarship

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria: Holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa; or have entered Australia with a recognised Commonwealth Government humanitarian visa subclass; or Be the child of a holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa; or whose parent entered Australia with a recognised Commonwealth Government humanitarian subclass; and Be commencing their first year of a UTS Business undergraduate degree; and For the duration of the Scholarship: full-time enrolment in a UTS Business undergraduate degree (Part-time enrolment may be approved in exceptional circumstances); and Have applied through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) for an Equity Scholarship and therein demonstrate financial disadvantage; and All candidates must apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible.

Anti-Cancer, Natural Product Transcriptomics PhD Top-Up Scholarship

Eligibility: To be eligible for this award, applicants must: hold a Bachelor degree with a minimum 2A Honours in a relevant discipline area e.g. molecular biology or plant biochemistry OR have an equivalent level of attainment via previous study, work experience, research publications, referee's reports and other research experience; and demonstrated ability to conduct basic research, for example: 1. execution of research experiments 2. maintenance of accurate laboratory notebooks 3. use of databases and other software 4. data analysis and report writing 5. compliance with laboratory WH&S guidelines. demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and develop new research techniques. demonstrated ability to organise and safely undertake laboratory research with minimal supervision. experience in molecular biology,  plant biochemistry and/or natural products chemistry are desirable not hold an equivalent HDR qualification to that being applied for not be receiving an equivalent scholarship, or salary providing a benefit greater than 75 percent of the APA stipend rate to undertake the HDR recipients must maintain satisfactory progress as a full-time higher degree by research candidate at the University of the Sunshine Coast Selection criteria: Undergraduate academic achievement Research alignment Publications and one of: Most recent and relevant degree Relevant research experience

Asian Development Bank - Japan Scholarship

Student must have received an unconditional offer of place for the Master of International Business, Master of Engineering, Master of Economics, Master of Public Health, Master of Agribusiness, Master of Agricultural Science, Master of Forest Ecosystem Science, or Master of Business Administration by the 31 October; be a citizen of the Asia Development Bank's developing member countries; have at least two years full-time professional work experience; be aged 35 years or under at the time of assessment; not have already completed a master degree or previously studies overseas; and be living and working in their home country.

Aspire Scholarships

An applicant is eligible for the Scholarship if the applicant – (a) is a Domestic Student; and  (b) is enrolled as a commencing student at the University of Queensland in a Relevant Program in semester 1 or trimester 1 in the year of award; and  (c) has not completed any prior tertiary study at bachelor level or higher; and  (d) has demonstrated significant financial disadvantage through achieving the maximum points for the 'Financial Hardship' category of QTAC's Educational Access Scheme and accepted an offer for the UQ Link Scholarship; and  (e) has been awarded a UQ Link Scholarship; and  (f) is not in receipt of another scholarship awarded on the basis of financial hardship at the University of Queensland, with the exception of the UQ Link scholarship.
