Leeanne Bond Scholarship for Women in Engineering

The Leo and Mabel Barnett Travel Bursary shall be open to competition among candidates who: * are domestic students, i.e. Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens and holders of a permanent visa; and * are enrolled in an undergraduate degree and have received a grade of Credit or above in one of the following subjects, FR3221, FR3322 or FR2202; and * wish to travel to a French speaking country to undertake further French studies; and * wish to enrol for at least one semester's study at the overseas institution; and * have not already received any other travel scholarship, bursary or grant.

Lexion Alliance Scholarships in Modern Greek Language

Candidates must meet all of these: Program: be enrolled in, or eligible for admission into, the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Languages and Linguistics, Bachelor of Business, or any other degree allowing a major in Modern Greek Language; be full-time or part-time at Griffith University; and be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Permanent Humanitarian Visa Holder. Students who have received an unconditional offer for a relevant program and who are commencing students at UQ. Criteria are based on academic excellence, and high achieving students are encouraged to apply. Undergraduate opportunities: Students who have completed, or are completing A levels, STPM, GCE, SAM, AusMat, UEC or Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or equivalent senior secondary study in Malaysia), as well as those students currently studying at a recognized higher education institution (and seeking credit transfer into the UQ Bachelor) are encouraged to apply. Maria Vasas Scholarship in Equine Science

An applicant is eligible for the award of a scholarship in a year if, in that year, the applicant: (a) Is a domestic student within the meaning of the Fee Rules; (b) Has completed a Bachelor degree in Equine Science, Applied Science (Equine Science) or equivalent with a major in Animal Science; (c) Has enrolled, or intends to enrol, full-time in the Bachelor of Equine Science (Honours) program or Bachelor of Applied Science (Honours) program in the field of Equine Science full-time at UQ's Gatton campus; (d) Does not hold another scholarship that the Associate Dean (Academic) considers to be similar; and (e) Applies for the scholarship by the closing date for applications. Selection criteria For the selection process, the Associate Dean (Academic) must establish a selection committee, comprising: (a) The Head, School of Agriculture and Food Science, or nominee, as chair of the committee; (b) The Director of the Equine Science group, or nominee; and (c) Another member of the university's academic staff who is currently teaching in a relevant program; The committee will rank the eligible applicants consecutively in order of merit, based on, for each applicant: (a) financial circumstances as evidenced by supporting documentation (b) academic achievement in their undergraduate program; (c) an interest in equine science and experience working with horses; (d) personal qualities, including leadership potential, community service and engagement; and (e) any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to the applicant's future professional success.

Mathematical Models for Droplets Spreading and Evaporation on Real Leaf Surfaces PhD Scholarship

You must meet the entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at QUT, including any English language requirements for international students. You also must have one of: a first-class or second-class division A honours degree (or equivalent) a domestic or international qualification that is comparable to an Australian research masters degree a domestic or international qualification that is comparable to an Australian coursework masters degree with a significant research component (normally not less than 25%) and a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5 on a 7-point scale. Your previous degree should be in applied mathematics with a strong background in mathematical modelling, numerical methods for PDEs and fluid mechanics. Graduates of physics or engineering may also be considered. You should have excellent written communications skills and expertise in computer programming (in Matlab or C++, for example).
