Cowan Grant Experiential Learning Scholarship

The Scholarship shall be open to competition among applicants who: • are Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens, or holders of an Australian permanent visa • are admitted as an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework student at the Cairns campus of James Cook University • are enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit points in the year of application • have obtained a Course GPA of 4.0 or above • are in financial need.

Creative Industries International Scholarship

You'll be considered for this scholarship if you: have completed a qualifying course from any country outside Australia with the required academic results meet minimum English language entry requirements of IELTS 6.5 (no sub scores below 6) or equivalent for direct admission to the degree program. If you are completing an English preparation course at QUT, you may be eligible for this scholarship once you have met the English language requirements apply for and be accepted into one of these courses offered by our Creative Industries Faculty: Bachelor of Creative Industries Bachelor of Design (Honours) Bachelor of Journalism Bachelor of Media and Communication Master of Advertising (Creative Advertising) Graduate Certificate in Creative Industries and Master of Advertising (Creative Advertising) package. start your coursework degree program no later than Semester 2, 2018. You're not eligible for this scholarship if you: completed your qualifying course(s) in Australia are studying or need to study a Foundation or Diploma pathway course accept any other QUT academic scholarship. Conditions To receive the ongoing scholarship after your first two semesters, you must: maintain a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 5.5 on the QUT 7-point scale throughout your course at QUT.

Design and Health ARC PhD Scholarship

You must meet the entry requirements for a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at QUT, including any English language requirements for international students. You must also: meet QUT's criteria for Honours 1 equivalence plan to research a topic that aligns with the ARC research priorities be able to enrol as a full-time student have a portfolio of design work that demonstrates your knowledge of methods used in experience, interaction, graphic and interface design have practical knowledge of graphic design software such as Adobe creative suite. It would be advantageous to have: experience in designing communication resources for health contexts knowledge and understanding of adolescent mental health an interest in and awareness of health technology. You can't apply if you: hold a research doctorate degree or equivalent research qualification are receiving an equivalent award, scholarship or salary to complete a research degree that provides a benefit greater than 75% of this scholarship's stipend rate. Conditions The scholarship duration is up to 3 years. You are expected to complete your work and submit your thesis for external examination within this timeframe.
