Gerard Connolly Memorial Prize

Global Linkages Scholarships

The Global Linkages Program provides our students with the opportunity to complete one to two weeks of practicum placement overseas. Under the supervision of a lead trainer, students are provided with the opportunity to work in children's services, elder care, disability and community service projects across the Indo-Asian region. A Global Linkages Scholarship covers: Return economy flights from Brisbane Accommodation Internal Transfers Visas Meals in country Travel Insurance A student contribution fee is applicable for the Global Linkages Scholarship Program. The contribution fee will depend on the Global Linkages country of choice.

Gough Family Scholarship for Medical Education

The scholarship is open to students enrolled in the Doctor of Medicine program (any year of the course) and who are Australian citizens or permanent residents. The scholarship is awarded to the applicant who best demonstrates the following: Financial need Evidence of personal effort to address his/her financial need An outline of how the scholarship funds will be used Satisfactory academic progress Personal qualities including leadership potential Any other evidence relevant to the applicant's future success in the medical profession. The scholarship is awarded once annually on the recommendation of a duly appointed selection committee convened by the Head of the School of Medicine or his/her nominee. The selection committee shall consist of no fewer than three individuals and shall include the Head of School of Medicine or nominee (as Chair), the President of the University of Queensland Medical Society or nominee, and one or more academic teaching staff in medicine.

Griffith Business School Excellence Scholarships

Applicants must: have a minimum GPA in high school studies.  postgraduate applicants must have a minimum GPA in undergraduate studies of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale or 5.5 on 7.0 scale (or equivalent). have applied and be eligible for admission, or be in receipt of a conditional or unconditional offer from the University by the scholarship application closing date. have satisfied all appropriate entry requirements for the proposed degree program, including results of previous study and English language proficiency as per Griffith University's and the Griffith Business School's entry requirements. be commencing (not existing) and enrolling as a full-time student in a Griffith Business School degree at Griffith University. Griffith University Postgraduate Research Scholarships

To be eligible for a GUPRS, an applicant must be commencing or enrolled in a HDR program (for which GUPRS support is available) at Griffith University; and not be receiving income from another source to support the candidate's general living costs that provides a benefit greater than 75% of the GUPRS stipend rate to undertake the proposed program.
