IT Bachelor-Master Package Program

The IT Bachelor-Master Package Program is available to eligible students who receive two years advanced standing towards the Bachelor of Information Technology on the basis of approved prior studies (e.g. students from Singaporean Polytechnics, or other partner programs in Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam) and apply to continue in the Master of Computer Science. Students should submit both applications together.  Entry requirements To apply, a student must have successfully completed prior studies in Information Technology and be eligible for #32 (2 years) advanced standing, and satisfy the Executive Dean that, based on the student's academic record the student is suitably qualified for admission. International students must undertake this program on campus at UQ on a full time basis to be eligible to apply for an Australian student visa. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit. J.M. Donnelly Scholarship

To be eligible for this scholarship an applicant must: (1) be a domestic student within the meaning of the fee rules; (2) be enrolled full time in an approved program; (3) have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 4.0, if a continuing student; (4) demonstrate financial need; (5) provide evidence of Samoan heritage; and (6) complete an application form and submit it to the Executive Dean by the due date.

James and Everingham Bursary

An applicant is eligible for the award of a scholarship in a year if, in that year, the applicant: (a) Is enrolled in a program relating to food technology or rural agriculture; and (b) Applies for the scholarship by the closing date for applications. Selection criteria The Associate Dean (Academic) must rank the eligible applicants in order of merit based on: (a) Academic achievement; (b) Financial need; and (c) any other evidence that may be considered relevant by the Associate Dean (Academic) to future success by the student in the agriculture, agronomy or related industries If the Associate Dean (Academic) is satisfied that at least one eligible applicant is of sufficient merit to warrant the award of the scholarship, the Associate Dean (Academic) must recommend that the scholarship be awarded to the applicant with the highest ranking.

Jim Finlayson International Student Scholarship

The scholarship will be presented to the applicant who best demonstrates that they have the required attitude, skill and motivation to succeed in the hospitality industry, and the training provided by Quality Training & Hospitality College will best help them to achieve their goals of success in the future. Award The winning student will receive a waiver of their Semester 2 fee. The prize cannot be payable as cash, and will only be applied as a credit to the winning student's account. Applicant criteria This scholarship is only for international students. Permanent residents or citizens of Australia will not be considered. The recipient must be the holder of a foreign passport with an Australian Government student visa number 500. The recipient must abide at all times by the terms of the visa. This includes adhering to the number of hours employed per week, attendance at the course and obeying Australian laws. Course criteria The recipient must be enrolled in a minimum of a full 2 year study program at Quality Training & Hospitality College. Students studying course program shorter than 2 study years are not eligible for the scholarship.
