Napoleon is from Venezuela, studying a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Southern Queensland, Ipswich. Napoleon is passionate about representing the views and rights of the international student community and values the opportunity to identify and discuss different challenges that international students may experience.
Napoleon would like to provide advice on policy, and promote education opportunities in Queensland. He has a particular interest in advancing political, social and economic policy and will engage with the student community to identify constructive ways of advancing positive influence and reform.
As a member of the Queensland International Student Advisory Panel, Napoleon will draw attention to the difficulties international students face when trying to acquire work experience, he believes this creates a significant barrier that may damage and disturb the career journey of international students.
Napoleon loves studying in Queensland because of its affordability and perfect weather. He advises students to get involved in the community wherever possible, to gain a deeper understanding of the Australian culture.
