The India Innovators Experience

The recipients of the India-Queensland Innovators' Experience have been announced. Zone Startups director Ajay Ramasubramania from Mumbai and Perfit 3D director Eobin George from Cochin will experience Queensland’s innovation and world class international education in April as part of the innovation festival QODE. 

The India-Queensland Innovators' Experience is a joint program between Study Queensland and Advance Queensland designed to showcase Queensland’s innovation and world class education and training opportunities and to boost trade and education links with one of the fastest growing economies on the planet.

The Queensland Government will host two Indian innovators for a visit to Queensland from Monday 1 April to Sunday 7 April 2019. During this time, the selected innovators will have the opportunity to meet leading Queensland entrepreneurs and innovators, have a chance to run workshops and address stakeholders in Queensland and India, and participate in iconic lifestyle experiences in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast.

Ajay Ramasubramania, Zone Startups

Zone Startups has assisted over 230 Indian startups, including ‘empoWer’, which is Indian’s first technology accelerator, where he has supported over 56 women entrepreneurs.

Eobin George, Perfit 3D

Eobin George, Perfit 3D

A 3D body scanning solution designed to rapidly capture measurements and transfer these to a robotic cutting machine for garment production. This allows for rapid made-to-measure garment production, with better accuracy and significantly less material loss.
