Being culturally conscious is the ability to apply skills such as emotional awareness and collaboration skills to understand, traverse and engage with diverse cultures and broader social issues. A culturally conscious person demonstrates an understanding of the deeper social, cultural, and environmental interconnections at work in a globalised world and a commitment to positive action to engage them.
