The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) provides an outstanding education in some of the most beautiful locations in Queensland. USC has won a five star rating for teaching quality from the independent Good Universities Guide for ten years in a row.
Students can study at USC’s Sippy Downs campus, located on the Sunshine Coast about 90 kilometres from Brisbane, and be close to magnificent beaches and lush hinterland. The Sippy Downs campus sits on 100 hectares of land adjoining the Mooloolah National Park and offers students more than 100 programs. USC provides a broad set of traditional academic programs in Arts and Business, as well as Science, Health, Education, and Engineering. Recently, USC opened its School of Law and is continually adding programs to meet global employment trends.
USC also has a vibrant city campus at South Bank in the heart of Brisbane, where it offers four popular Business programs. USC’s growing population of more than 12,500 students enjoy some of the most modern teaching facilities in Australia, including leading edge 3-D simulation suites for interactive learning in engineering and other programs. Research activity and recognition is expanding at USC with new funding across a range of research areas. The new $1.8 billion Sunshine Coast University Hospital will open in 2016, with USC playing a leading role in health services education, clinical work, and the establishment of a Health Research Institute.
