Australian Catholic University International Student Scholarship

Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Stipend (International)

The Australian Government requires you to: be an international student enrolled in an accredited research degree (HDR course of study) at and Australian higher education provider (HEP) not be receiving income from another source to support your general living costs while studying, if that income is greater than 75% of your RTP stipend rate. Income not related to your course of study or income received for you course of study but not for the purposes of supporting general living costs is not to be taken into account. If you also hold an Australian Government RTP Fees Offset scholarship, you must: not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth that's designed to offset research degree (HDR) fees.

Australian Institute of Mine Surveyors (AIMS) Bursary

To be eligible applicants must: be an Australian Citizen or have permanent resident status  commence or continue their studies in a Bachelor of Spatial Science Technology (Surveying), Bachelor of Spatial Science (Honours) (Surveying) or Associate Degree of Spatial Science (Surveying) in Semester 1 2018 be enrolled at the Toowoomba campus  be enrolled in a minimum of 3 study units in each of Semester 1 and Semester 2 of each year of the bursary  be studying on-campus.

If all the below statements describe you and your current situation, you can apply for this scholarship: I am an Australian citizen; I am a direct descendant of the South Sea Islanders who were brought into Queensland between 1863 and 1904 and worked as indentured labourers; I am a member of the Australian South Sea Islander community; I am or will be enrolled as an undergraduate student at JCU; I have not previously completed an undergraduate degree; and I am not in receipt of another scholarship in the year of the award.
