Talent-Ed is a free Study Queensland initiative designed to support international students in developing the skills, mindsets, and experiences that enhance employability.
Employability is a lifelong skill—and we understand students are balancing many priorities. That’s why Talent-Ed is structured around three core pillars: Education, Engagement, and Experience. These pillars help you become work-ready, expand your professional network, and gain local experience. By focusing on these areas, you’ll strengthen your employability and build capabilities that support long-term career success.

Education
The Education pillar provides the foundational knowledge to succeed. Through our self-paced online modules you’ll gain insights into where opportunities exist, what employers value, and how to confidently navigate your career path.

Engagement
The Engagement pillar connects international students and graduates directly with Queensland industry. Through employer-led networking events and career conversations, you’ll build confidence, establish meaningful connections, and begin forming a professional network that can lead to future opportunities.

Experience
The Experience pillar enables students to apply and refine their skills in real-world contexts. Through Study Queensland's Innovation Challenges, international students collaborate with Queensland employers to solve real-world business problems—gaining practical experience, demonstrating capability, and building visibility with potential employers.
Study Queensland Innovation Challenges help you build your professional and personal networks, sharpen your teamwork skills and introduce you to the challenges and opportunities in key industries in Queensland.
