“The experience of studying abroad has changed my life.”

For Triet, leaving Vietnam to study in Australia was a leap into the unknown – but it’s one that has given him independence, confidence and a strong sense of belonging. 

A student in Brisbane, Queensland, Triet has embraced every opportunity that has come his way, both in and out of the classroom.

With a passion for education, Triet dreams of becoming a secondary school teacher, specialising in maths, biology and chemistry. “That’s what I like at the moment,” he says, acknowledging that his path may evolve over time. 

Beyond academics, Triet has immersed himself in community and leadership roles. “I love doing community work,” he shares. “I’ve volunteered to raise funds for charity.” These experiences have reinforced his desire to help others – a quality that will serve him well as a future educator.
